During the Pandemic, many of us are missing cherished, in-person relations. Now might be the right time to make some online connections.
Had you told me a month ago that I’d be humming a tune called “Love Drunk” by an American country duo named LoCash Cowboys, I’d have said you were delusional.
The problem is that the hi-tach car we bought is smart, and we are in the dark ages.
Social media groups give virtual historians opportunities to exchange info & clarify varying accounts of the past, creating a written record.
Many of my friends Tweet and Instagram and can’t wait to download the latest app, but I’m content to continue emailing and limp along with my current operating system until communication with the outside world becomes no longer possible. That said, I can’t help but boast of the few times when I’ve Googled for—and discovered—advice on fixing household problems.
Video chatting is a great way to stay connected and keep tabs on an elder parent when you can’t be there. Various products on the market today offer simple video calling for seniors who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with technology.
