AUDITION FOR OVER THE RIVER & THROUGH THE WOODS

Audition for this funny play

Missoula, MT— The Missoula Community Theatre is holding an open audition on Sunday, January 29th for actors to play the roles in Over the River and Through the Woods. This hilarious, six-person non-musical play is by Joe DiPietro (who also wrote I Love You, You’re Perfect…Now Change). The small cast features six actors including a young man and a young woman (ages 20+), along with two men and two women (who can portray 70+) to play quick-witted, meddling grandparents. The audition will take place from 1:00-3:00PM on Sunday, January 29th at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts on the third floor. Please use the Main Street entrance. No advance preparation is required to audition. There are no roles for children.

MCT is happy to have Teresa Waldorf as the guest director for this comedy. She brings many acting and directing credits to this project. Most recently, she directed Legally Blonde The Musical for the UM School of Theatre & Dance and Music, is one half of the comedy team Lucinda and Lulinda, The Home Shopping Girls and has directed several MCT productions, including 9 to 5: The Musical.

**Special skills/talents sought are the ability to do a Jersey/Italian/New York accent.

The performance dates are March 9-19, 2017. All performances of this family-friendly show will take place at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.
