YAHOO! It’s Wylie and the Wild West, performing at the 72nd Montana Winter Fair, Friday, January 27 at 7:30 at The Eagles! In case you didn’t know, that’s Wylie’s voice echoing in millions of homes as the ever familiar Ya-hoo-ooo! the advertising signature of Yahoo.com.

Wylie Gustafson, Conrad, MT native says, “In our music and our presence, we try to be ourselves.” Wylie’s music is a blend of Western swing, classic country, cowboy and folk…served up with a healthy helping of his infectious energy that gets crowds up and dancing every time.

Gustafson has released over a dozen album/CDs winning him Western Music Association awards for Group of the Year, Yodeler of the Year and Best Western Swing Album. Gustafson’s discology can be traced at westernjubilee.com.

Wylie has performed at such prestigious venues as the Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, the National Folk Festival, Merlefest, A Prairie Home Companion, the Bumbershoot Festival , Las Vegas, the Gene Autry Museum and the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Wylie has performed at the Grand Ole Opry over 45 times. Wylie and the Wild West headlined at Lewistown’s Montana Cowboy Poetry on the Saturday night Grand Stage Show in August of 2008.

Gustafson has toured in Australia, Japan, Europe and Canada.

Wylie is an accomplished cutting horse enthusiast who was the 2005 NCHA Western National Finals Champion. He’s always been into cows and quarter horses, resulting in him evolving into an early riser!

Tickets for the Wylie Concert go on sale, Tuesday, November 1st on line at MontanaWinterFair.com and at Don’s Store in Lewistown. Tickets are $20 each and seating is limited. A sell-out is anticipated, so get your tickets early.

Montana Winter Fair is a non-profit venture produced by Central Montana volunteers, dedicated to “celebrating the world-class agriculture and enviable lifestyle of Central Montana”. Over thirty events will be produced as this year’s 72nd fair during the 4-day run, Thursday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017.
